Transportation Featured Items:

  • Noxious Weeds:  As required by law, the crews are working to control noxious weeds in the City's right of way.
  • Public Pathways Pilot Program: Public Pathways are short cuts for bicyclists and pedestrians that connect streets to parks, schools, and other streets where no motor vehicle connection exists.  The City developed guidelines for residents to make basic improvements that are appropriate for a public pathway.
  • West Olympia Access Study: City Council received an update on the options on October 6, 2009.  To learn more about the project visit DOT website.
  • Transportation Mobility Strategy: The Transportation Mobility Strategy (TMS) was accepted by City Council on August 4, 2009.
  • Pedestrian Countdown Signals: Learn about the pedestrian countdown signal heads.
